On Thursday night, February 24, 2011, the American Heart Association and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA join together once again with their annual fundraising event, "Go Red in Your Own Fashion" to help promote awareness for "Go Red for Women®", a movement dedicated to the prevention against women’s heart disease.

Cocktail hour begins at 5:30, with the good stuff provided by Peppers Fine Foods catering; their menu featuring tasteful & healthful recipes influenced by the American Heart Association Cookbook. The evening will continue with a fashion show and finally entertainment by comedian and former contestant on the reality show The Biggest Loser, Kelly MacFarland.

Tickets for "Go Red" at St. Vincent Hospital are $25 and the proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association.

hopkinton community endowmentOn January 22, 2011, Hopkinton Community Endowment will host its Second Annual "Party in the Kitchen," an fundraising evening for the Town of Hopkinton with great music, food and beverages, raffles and more.

Over 300 people attended last year's event, and this year hopes to be even more successful. The menu will be sure not to disappoint, as Peppers Catering of Northboro will be bringing their magic again this year.

This evening's demonstration will feature Chef John Lawrence preparing three of his favorite seasonal vegetarian dishes followed by Executive Chef Paul Wilson, who will "top that" with three complementing seafood or meat items to go with John's vegetarian dishes. The Peppers crew specializes in utilizing local New England raised or grown products, and their classes are always interesting and a lot of fun.

tower hill botanical garden's new limonaiaBoylston, MA - On November 14, 2010 Tower Hill Botanical Garden will be celebrating the grand opening of their new Limonaia (pronounced “lee mo NIGH ah”), a 3500 sq. ft. greenhouse directly across from their famous Orangerie.

An free admission open house will run from 11:00am to 2:00pm with guided tours of the new Tower Hill Limonaia and other sections of their recently completed expansion project.
